More than an event, our desire is to see the Christian community develop strong, ongoing relationships. Through relationship, partnership, and leadership among churches, we believe the Kingdom of God will gain greater influence in our city.

Invitation to the Movement
Dear Pastor-
We would like to invite you and your congregation to join us on Sunday, November 18th at 6:00pm for a regional gathering of congregations to give thanks, pray for the city, and feed the hungry. To be held at the U-Turn Sports Performance Academy at 2101 Maywill Street Richmond VA, 23230, this gathering seeks:
- to unify the body of Christ across denominational and ethnic backgrounds through prayer and worship
- to bless Richmond by collecting canned food donations for the Central Virginia Food Bank.

Congregation Communication
There are many ways you can communicate this event to your congregation, but here are three things we are asking every pastor to do:
- PROMOTE the Event from your pulpit beginning Sunday, October 14th. We want your whole congregation and every ministry to see this as an opportunity for them to be a part. As part of your promotion of the event, download the appropriate flyer or bulletin insert to distribute among your congregation. You can also download any of the video commercials to show during our service. Do all you can to cast the vision!
- POINT people to the website: www.blessrichmond.com. This is where everyone can find directions, times, specifics on food collection, parking, and more.
- PERSONALLY invite your Pastors and ministry Leaders to join you at the event. This year, make sure to invite those closest to you to come catch the vision. More than anything, we want people to see what God can do when His people come together. Our desire is that in the years to come, Bless Richmond will become an annual event for churches all across the city.
- PRAY! Pray that the body of Christ may be brought to complete unity so that the world will know that Jesus was sent by the Father and that He loves them even as He loved the Son (John 17:23). Pray that God's healing, restoration and redemption increases in our churches and our city through the relationships that are formed on November 20th. And pray that Richmond would be blessed and the body of Christ would shine brighter in the days following Bless Richmond.
